Isabel Betsill is an emerging artist and art educator whose work contemplates intimacy, comfort, and femininity as pertains to her lived experience as a young, queer woman. While her oeuvre includes drawing, performance art, and sculpture, she has found a voice with acrylic paint. Her current bodies of paintings, both still lifes and self portraits, tell intimate autobiographical stories about her experiences with loneliness, connection, and girlhood.
Betsill received a BA in studio art from Lewis and Clark college in 2020 and currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
